Perry Lentine is a Bay Area freelance photographer. He has been an avid photographer and photo enthusiast since 1977. Originally inspired by his grandfather, Dominick L. Lentine, who shot 35mm slides at most family gatherings. Dominick's slide shows quickly became a well loved family tradition that everyone looked forward to seeing. Eventually this became Dominick's legacy, capturing a valuable slice of family history.
Initially shooting for friends and family, Perry eventually took an interest in concerts during the late 70's, shooting acts such as Frank Zappa, Journey, The Grateful Dead, Muddy Waters, Peter Gabriel and many others.
Since 1989 Perry has been actively involved in the digital revolution initially through personal computing. Witnessing the birth of digital photography in the 1990's, Perry stayed on the sidelines at first, then began using a point-and-shoot camera and quickly became hooked on the benefits of digital photography.
Today, Perry spends much of his time photographing family and friends.
